Preparation of Land for Tobacco Cultivation
1. Land is ploughed two to three times.
2. It is harrowed for many times and fine seed bed is prepared.
3. Stubbles of previous crop are collected and destroyed by burning.
4. 35 to 50 c.l. of FYM/ha is spread on land before last ploughing.
5. It is well mixed in soil by ploughing and harrowing.
