Organic substances in plant that are responsible in imparting various colours to plant parts are called plant pigments.
Occurrence of Plant Pigments : Protoplasm of the cells, chlorophyll, chloroplast of the cells.
Classification of Plant Pigments: Plant pigments are classified into two ways depending upon their solubility in fat or water.
