Land Preparation (Preparatory Tillage) for Ginger Cultivation

1. Land is ploughed 20cm deep by iron plough or tractor.
2. Clods are crushed with cold crusher.
3. Another crosswise ploughing is given.
4. About 20 to 30 tons FYM/ha is added to soil.
5. It is mixed into soil by giving two harrowing.
6. Leveling is done with the help of leveler.
