1. Masur crop become ready for harvesting within 100 to 120 days after sowing.
2. It is harvested by cutting the plants near to the ground before it is dead ripe.
3. The plants are dried in sun for one week on threshing floor.
4. Threshing is done by beating the plants with stick and winnowed to clean off seed from chaff.
5. The green pods are picked for vegetable purpose.
Yield:
Av. Yield is 4 to 5 qt/ha.
