1. CO – 419 (Adsali):

1. It is released in the year 1936.
2. Yield per hectare is about 130 tons.
3. Sucrose percentage is 15 to 16.
4. Fiber percentage is 12 to 13.
5. It is fairly erect and greenish in colour.
6. It is suitable for adsali planting.
7. The cane is thick but has lodging habit.

2. CO – 740:

1. It is released in the year 1956.
2. Yield per hectare is about 175 tons.
3. Sucrose percentage is 15 to 16.
4. Fiber percentage is 12 to 12.50.
5. It is sub-erect and pale yellow in colour.
6. It is suitable for adsali planting and rationing.
7. The cane is thin but not break on lodging.
8. It is susceptible to smut disease.

3. CO – 775:

1. It is released in the year 1956.
2. Yield per hectare is about 150 tons.
3. Sucrose percentage is 16 to 16.5.
4. Fiber percentage is 12.5 to 13.
5. It is erect with waxy coating internodes.
6. It is suitable for adsali planting and rationing.
7. The cane is thick with broad leaves.
8. It is susceptible to grassy shoot disease.
9. It is suited for chopan, water logged soils.
10. It is suitable for gul making.

4. CO – 62175:

1. It is released in the year 1962.
2. Yield per hectare is about 180 tons.
3. Sucrose percentage is 14 to 14.5.
4. It is midlate variety
5. The cane is thick with soft rind.
6. It is suitable for juice (raswanti) and chewing.
7. It is resistant to smut disease.
