Sonalika To Invest Rs 200 Crore In Himachal Pradesh Plant
Sonalika, a leading tractor maker, announced Tuesday that it will invest Rs 200 crore in a new manufacturing plant in Amb, Himachal Pradesh, to manufacture harvesters.
According to the company, its new plant in Amb occupies 29 acres and uses a multi-stage CED (Cathode Electric Deposition) paint system similar to that used in automotive factories.
Our new plant in Amb, HP, equipped with cutting-edge technology, enables us to produce harvesters that greatly boost farmer production, according to Raman Mittal, Executive Director of Sonalika Group.
In addition, the corporation introduced the Samrat, a harvester that costs Rs 25.5 lakh.
The Sonalika Samrat combine harvester is our newest product designed to increase farmer efficiency while harvesting. It is equipped with advanced technology and features modern comfort and aesthetics in order to satisfy customers, Mittal said.
Harvesters are powered by diesel engines rated at 101 horsepower. It is offered in two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) configurations, along with attachments to meet a variety of needs.
Sonalika’s Hoshiarpur factory in Punjab produces a heavy-duty tractor series with 20-120 HP and 70+ implements to meet customers’ needs all over the world.
