It can be of great assistance in reducing the cost of cultivation and increasing the income of farmers through organic farming. To promote organic farming in Bihar, the government runs the “Organic Corridor Scheme” in 13 districts of the state.
187 farmer groups have registered under this scheme so far. To promote and popularize organic farming among farmers, the state government has invited the common people to make a tagline and logo. The program is open to people throughout the country.
A prize will be awarded if the tagline of the participant is selected.
Criteria for the Tag Line
- You should keep the tagline short and sweet. (not to exceed 10 words)
- The theme should encompass organic and sustainable farming, toxins-free farming, and nutritional benefit.
- Taglines should be easy to understand and contemporary.
- It should reflect the value of organic farming among various stakeholders.
Criteria for the Logo
- Ideally, the logo (symbol) should represent the essence of organic farming, food security, nutritional security, and safe and sustainable agriculture.
- With the logo, we should convey the message that organic farming is a transformative opportunity to help farmers get better prices for their produce and practice toxic-free agriculture.
- A logo should be contemporary and easily recognizable.
- Ideally, the logo should be vibrant and modern.
- Each entry must be accompanied by a short, rational, and constructive explanation (not to exceed 100 words).
The Prize money
According to the Bihar Agriculture Director, two awards will be given: for the Logo designing, the selected winner will receive Rs 51,000 and a citation for this work, and for the tagline (promotional sentence), the selected winner will receive Rs 21,000 and a citation.

You can apply for this till 11.59 pm on 21 September 2021. All applications shall be submitted online or enveloped with caption (Tag Line Writing Contest) to the address given below.
