Registration for the e-SHRAM Card has gained significant traction with over 97 lakh workers having joined the portal.
A e-Shram Card should be obtained by all workers in the unorganized sector whose EPF is not deducted or who do not come under the purview of ESIC. The official e-Shram Portal can be accessed by anyone between the ages of 16 and 60.

Step by Step Process of e-Shram Card Registration:
- Log on to the official website.
- Click on the Self Registration tab.
- Log in through OTP from the number linked to Aadhaar. Enter Aadhaar Number.
- Now the information will appear on the next screen, and you have to accept it.
- After this, other forms have to be filled.
- The first form will be of personal information.
- The form of residential detail has to be filled.
- Information about educational qualifications will have to be given.
- After that, check all the details and save them.
Other details to be filled in:
- Choose the kind of work you want to do.
- Select your work area in the list given on the Portal. If there is no option, then fill in the code after viewing it from PDF.
- Fill in the bank account details. Enter name and other information.
- Click on OK. Details will be available for preview. Check and again click OK.
- You will receive OTP fill & submit, your card will appear on the screen. It will also have a QR code.
